VAFA - Victorian Advocates for Animals Inc.* is a volunteer association that actively campaigns against cruelty to animals. VAFA speaks out on any issue that affects the serious welfare interests of animals and is a regular voice in the media.
Our campaigns have helped bring about end of toothed steel-jawed traps in Victoria; the protection of bats/flying foxes; the conduct of jumping racing; the protection of pelicans from electric powerlines and the banning of spike traps and old style dog traps in Victoria.

VAFA assists animal rehabilitation shelters where possible and works with other animal advocacy groups. We reserve the right to protest and to represent the interests of other species with passion. Because of the sometimes confronting work we do supporters must be over 18 years of age.

`An end to harming` is our guiding principal.
